ProGuard 1

ProGuard 1 covers the components that power the vehicle: the transmission, engine and drive axle. Powertrain components are more likely to break the more mileage a vehicle has and when they do, are the most costly to repair. This plan includes labor and is designed for higher mileage vehicles up to 200,000 miles at time of purchase. It is the minimal protection available so for more peace of mind, consider ProGuard 2.

Engine: Gas/Diesel – All internally lubricated parts, including timing chain and gears. Timing belt only if broken. The engine block is covered with the failure of an internally lubricated part.

Drive Axle: All internally lubricated parts, Bearings, Center support bearing, CV joints, drive axle housing, ring and pinion gears, spider and side gears, Universal joints.

Four and AWD: All internally lubricated parts, Bearings, Bushings, Chains, Gears, Sleeves, Sprockets, Transfer case.

Seals and Gaskets: Cylinder heads, Intake manifold (all others are covered in conjunction with a covered component repair).

Transmission: Automatic/Manual; All internally lubricated parts.

Labor: on all repairs

ProGuard 2

ProGuard 2 also covers the powertrain components (transmission, engine, and drive axle) for vehicles up to 150,000 miles at the time of purchase. Should one or more of these components break down, we will pay up to the actual cash value of the vehicle in claims so you can be confident that you are covered. For added protection, the plan also includes 24/7 roadside assistance to get you to help wherever and whenever you need it.

ProGuard 3

ProGuard 3 is our flagship plan and offers the best coverage for your money. In addition to the powertrain components, the plan covers braking, cooling, fuel and fluids, electrical system, and steering for vehicles up to 150,000 miles at the time of purchase. A number of major components are also covered, including ABS, air conditioning, and suspension. That’s not all – ProGuard 3 coverage includes many advanced electrical parts (such as door, power mirror, and seat switches) that are very costly to repair. Diagnostic rates are covered plus you have 24/7 roadside assistance and rental car reimbursement to minimize out-of-pocket expenses if your vehicle is in the shop.

Includes all ProGuard 1 & 2 coverages plus the following:

Air Conditioning: Accumulator, Compressor, Clutch, Compressor clutch bearing, Condenser, Dryer/receiver, Evaporator, Orifice tube.

Brakes: Booster and Valve, Calipers, Hydro booster, Master cylinder, Power vacuum assist, Steel brake lines and hoses, wheel cylinders.

ABS Brakes: Accumulator, Electronic control processor, Hydraulic pump, Motor assembly, Isolation dump value, Pressure modulator valve, wheel speed sensors (not available on 90 or 180-day agreements).

Cooling System: Electric radiator fan motor, Fan and clutch, Radiator, Thermostat, Water pump.

Electrical System: Alternator, Front and Rear wiper motor assembly, Horn, Rear window defroster switch, Starter motor assembly.

Advanced Electrical: Convertible top motor, Door lock actuators, and switches, Electronic ignition module, Fuel pump, MAP Sensor, Mass Air Flow sensors, Oxygen sensors, Power window motors, switches and regulators, Seat motors and switches, Sunroof motor (not available on 90 or 180-day agreements).

Fluids: Any fluid required due to a covered component failure (exclusion refrigerant).

Fuel System: Fittings, Fuel lines.

Steering: Gearbox, Power steering pump, Rack, and pinion.

Suspension: Leaf and coil springs (only if broken), Pitman arms, Spindles, Tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, upper and lower control arms, wheel bearings.

Turbo/Supercharger: All internal parts, Bearings and housing (OEM only), Shafts, Vanes, Wastegate (surcharge applies).

Labor: on all repairs

ProGuard 4

ProGuard 4 is our premier product and the most comprehensive plan in the industry. Includes coverage for everything in our other plans, plus hundreds of other components that are most likely to break and quite expensive to replace. Coverage includes the fuel system and advanced plus electrical parts, air suspension compressor, cruise control assembly, and turbo/supercharger for vehicles up to 105,000 miles at the time of purchase. Highly used interior and exterior items (such as a hood, trunk and hatch, struts, and hinges) and a multitude of sensors that are relied on to keep your vehicle running properly are covered under this plan. ProGuard 4 also offers you roadside assistance, rental car reimbursement, and trip interruption coverage if you break down away from home. 

Includes all ProGuard 1, 2 & 3 coverages plus the following:
